Gibson Dunn Expands Business Restructuring Practice with Matthew Roose in New York
"Gibson Dunn has hired Matthew Roose as a partner in its Business Restructuring and Reorganization Practice Group in New York; he will work on creditor-side restructurings, liability management exercises and Chapter 11 matters."
Roose is a leading restructuring lawyer with extensive experience representing ad hoc groups of creditors and investors of publicly and privately held debtors in liability management exercises, out-of-court restructurings, distressed acquisitions and in‑court Chapter 11 proceedings. He also represents publicly and privately held debtors in LMEs, special situations, out-of-court restructurings, distressed acquisitions and Chapter 11 processes, and his practice encompasses a broad range of litigation and transactional matters across several industries. He will focus his practice on sophisticated secured-creditor matters.
Roose joins Gibson Dunn as a partner. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a partner at another international law firm.
