Studio Legale Padovan integrates Enrico Perticone Consulting and strengthens its team
"Studio Legale Padovan expands by integrating Enrico Perticone Consulting and hires Marianna Geraci for corporate compliance & investigations and Vittorio Santabarbara for customs law, excise and green customs (CBAM, EUDR)."
The integration with Enrico Perticone Consulting brings together legal and commodity‑customs expertise in a unified model covering international trade compliance and cross‑border commercial matters. Enrico Perticone, a professor of Customs Commodity Studies at the University G. D’Annunzio of Pescara and former president of the National Council of Customs Forwarders (CNSD), is an expert in customs law who has contributed to the revision of the Incoterms 2020 and combines professional practice, academic activity and participation in national and international institutional forums.
Marianna Geraci joins the firm as head of corporate compliance & investigations. A lawyer registered with the Rome Bar and a PhD in Law and Economics, she has more than ten years of experience at national and international law firms, specialising in corporate criminal law, administrative liability of entities under Legislative Decree 231/2001 and corporate internal investigations, including cross‑border matters. She is a member of the Women’s White Collar Defense Association – Italy Chapter and the author of publications in scientific and academic journals.
Vittorio Santabarbara joins Studio Legale Padovan with a focus on customs law, excise duties and emerging sustainability‑related profiles in the so‑called green customs, including CBAM and EUDR. A lawyer registered with the Rome Bar and a statutory auditor registered with the MEF register, he has experience in customs, excise, export controls and international economic sanctions. He assists companies in judicial and extrajudicial matters related to customs and excise—particularly in the electricity, gas, energy products and alcohol sectors—and in customs litigation and verification procedures conducted by the Customs Agency and the Guardia di Finanza. He holds a law degree from the University of Teramo, a second‑level Master in Tax Law, Accounting and Fiscal Planning from Luiss Business School, and is an author of articles for newspapers and specialised legal journals.
With this operation Studio Legale Padovan aims to consolidate its positioning as a reference for companies on international contract law, trade compliance and customs law by offering an integrated, multidisciplinary model to manage the complexities of international trade and cross‑border regulatory flows. The firm has indicated its intention to pursue further alliances and consolidations.
