Dechert strengthens global antitrust capabilities with partner Marie Louvet in Paris

"Dechert LLP has appointed Marie Louvet as a partner in its Paris antitrust/competition practice. She will work on antitrust investigations and competition litigation, including cartels, abuse of dominance, merger control and private enforcement."

Marie Louvet has joined Dechert LLP as a partner in the firm’s antitrust/competition practice in Paris.

Ms. Louvet brings extensive experience advising French and international clients in antitrust investigations and proceedings before the French and European competition authorities and courts. She joins Dechert as a partner and will contribute to the firm’s work in France, before the European Commission and on global matters.

Her substantive practice covers cartel and abuse of dominance cases, merger control and private enforcement, and competition litigation. Ms. Louvet has been recognised as a Future Leader for Competition by the Lexology Index in 2025 and was named by The Legal 500 EMEA 2026 in France for EU Competition and Distribution.

Dechert’s dedicated antitrust/competition team, composed wholly of antitrust specialists across its international offices, will include Ms. Louvet as part of its Paris group, which plays a core role in the firm’s European strategy.
