Deborah Bone Joins Clark Hill in Las Vegas as Senior Counsel

Bone is a seasoned legal advisor with deep experience in energy regulation, enforcement defense and environmental law. She has developed a focused energy law practice centered on regulatory strategy, enforcement defense, and legislative and policy advising, with earlier experience in environmental law and regulatory compliance, including matters under the Clean Air Act and CERCLA. She has represented energy sector clients and companies in highly regulated industries in enforcement actions brought by the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental Protection Agency, Securities and Exchange Commission and state attorneys general, and her practice encompasses regulatory proceedings, government investigations, complex litigation, corporate governance and commercial transactions.
She joins Clark Hill as Senior Counsel from NV Energy, where she served as Deputy General Counsel. Bone is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Nevada and Illinois, including the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and earned her law degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
