Greenberg Traurig adds Shaun Kennedy to Denver government contracts and space practices
"Greenberg Traurig adds Shaun Kennedy as a Shareholder in Denver to its Government Contracts and Space practices; he will handle bid protests, internal investigations and regulatory compliance for government contractors."
Kennedy focuses on bid protest litigation, internal investigations, and regulatory compliance counseling for government contractors and private entities. He advises clients across the aerospace and defense, construction, and technology industries on complex government contracts matters ranging from pre-award counseling through post-award disputes and enforcement. He joined Greenberg Traurig from Holland & Hart LLP.
Kennedy’s prior experience includes intervening and defending a protest in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims challenging the award of battlefield cryptographic key devices and carrying that victory through the Federal Circuit. He successfully defended a protest targeting a $750 million Army procurement and frequently represents aerospace and defense clients in litigation before the Court of Federal Claims, Boards of Contract Appeals, and federal district courts. He has also led sensitive enforcement matters, including an internal investigation for an aerospace company concerning allegations under the Defense Contractor Whistleblower Protection Act that resulted in the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General declining to investigate.
Kennedy received his law degree from American University’s Washington College of Law and a B.B.A. from the University of Kentucky. He is admitted to practice in Colorado and the District of Columbia.
