Freeths appoints Director Sophie Fulwell to strengthen national Employment team in Liverpool

Fulwell brings more than 16 years of post-qualification experience and will focus on building and developing Freeths’ Liverpool employment practice while working closely with colleagues across the national team. She advises employers across a broad range of sectors, including financial services, technology, education, retail and leisure. Her experience covers the employment aspects of corporate and commercial transactions — including acquisitions, disposals, investments, IPOs and outsourcing projects — and large-scale HR projects such as restructures, redundancy exercises and business transformations. Fulwell also supports clients on day-to-day employee lifecycle matters, including drafting contracts of employment and senior service agreements, advising on post-termination restrictions and business protection strategies, and representing employers and senior executives in complex employment tribunal claims, including whistleblowing, discrimination and constructive unfair dismissal.
