Cooley Adds Meredith Halama and Katie Cramer to Global Cyber/Data/Privacy Practice

Meredith Halama has joined Cooley as a partner in the firm’s global cyber/data/privacy group and will be based in the Washington, DC office. She joins from Perkins Coie, where she served as co-chair of the firm’s privacy and security practice. Halama has advised clients on privacy and advertising technology matters for more than 20 years and previously served as deputy general counsel and director of policy and compliance for the Network Advertising Initiative. Her practice focuses on the application of consumer privacy laws to advertising technology and related privacy and security counseling and defense.
Katie Cramer is joining Cooley and will be based in the Denver office. Cramer joins from Perkins Coie and, like Halama, is recognised for work at the intersection of consumer privacy law and advertising technology. She will contribute to Cooley’s cyber/data/privacy practice serving major technology clients.
