Grupo GICSA appoints José Manuel Zavala Barrenechea as Head of Legal for Capital Markets and Financing

Zavala Barrenechea comes from Nader, Hayaux & Goebel, where he served as Of Counsel. He brings seasoned expertise in capital markets and financing and is joining GICSA at the seniority of head of legal for capital markets and financing; at his previous firm he held the seniority of Of Counsel. He holds a law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México. The appointment supports GICSA’s expansion of its in-house legal capabilities into technically demanding real estate and securities work, including refinancings, syndicated credit facilities, institutional lending arrangements and public securities processes.
