Dechert Adds Partner Elaine Kao to Dallas Corporate and Securities Practice

Ms. Kao joins Dechert as a partner and brings a corporate practice concentrated on public and private mergers and acquisitions, including buy-side and sell-side transactions, joint ventures, venture capital investments and restructurings. Her work spans clients in accounting and audit firms, professional services, healthcare and biotech, and she has extensive experience addressing regulatory issues common to transactions involving medical and physician practices, accounting firms, SEC-registered broker-dealers and government contracting. Her background also includes advising clients in highly regulated industries and handling cross-border matters, and she has ties to both Texas and the West Coast.
Her arrival further strengthens Dechert’s transactional capabilities and its Dallas presence as the firm expands its corporate and securities offerings in the region.
