Orrick Adds Leading Life Sciences M&A and Private Equity Team in Paris
"Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe has hired Alain Decombe and partner Vianney Toulouse with a four-lawyer team in Paris to strengthen its life sciences, healthcare and healthtech M&A, private equity and venture capital practice."
Alain Decombe is a Top 3-ranking French M&A lawyer (MergerLinks, 2025) and a Chambers France Band 1 practitioner in life sciences and healthcare. He joins Orrick as a partner in Paris and, with his team, advises multinationals, funds and high-growth companies on strategic M&A, private equity and venture capital investments, capital markets and other corporate transactions, with a primary focus on life sciences, healthcare and emerging healthtech in France and internationally.
Vianney Toulouse joins Orrick as a partner as part of Alain Decombe’s four-lawyer team. As a member of the team, he will work on the same areas of practice: strategic M&A, private equity and venture capital investments, capital markets and other corporate transactions, focused principally on life sciences, healthcare and healthtech, in France and internationally.
