Cleary Gottlieb Strengthens Global Funds Team with Partner Greg Larkin

Greg Larkin has joined Cleary Gottlieb as a partner in its Global Funds group.

Based in Washington, D.C., Larkin will add dedicated Investment Advisers Act capacity to the firm's growing funds regulatory team. He has extensive experience advising private fund sponsors and other investment advisers on regulatory, governance, and compliance matters, focused primarily on Advisers Act and Investment Company Act issues, and has nearly two decades of experience in the field.

Prior to joining Cleary, Larkin was a partner at an international law firm in Washington, D.C., where he regularly counseled asset managers and other industry participants on a wide range of Advisers Act and Investment Company Act matters. His work included SEC examinations and regulatory and compliance matters in connection with the structuring, registration, and regulatory filings of U.S. and non-U.S. managers, the formation and marketing of private funds, co-investments, continuation vehicles, and other private fund transactions. Throughout his career he has advised sponsors investing across various asset classes, including private equity, private credit, real estate, real estate debt, venture capital, crypto and other digital assets.

Larkin received his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.S.E. from Princeton University.
