Knights appoints Gillian Coverley as Partner to strengthen Sheffield Private Client practice

Gillian brings more than 20 years’ experience gained at Irwin Mitchell. She specialises in advising high-net-worth individuals, professionals and business owners on estate planning, wills, trusts, probate and succession planning. She focuses on clients with complex family or financial circumstances, including inheritance tax planning and the transfer of wealth across generations, and also advises charities and philanthropic individuals on legacy giving, charitable estate planning and the administration of charitable trusts.
Having spent her entire career in Sheffield, Gillian has built a strong local network and a deep understanding of regional client needs. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and was the only private client lawyer ranked Band 1 in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2025 for Private Wealth Law in Sheffield and the surrounding area.
