Clark Hill Adds Simone McCormick as a Member to San Francisco Office

McCormick is an accomplished privacy and cybersecurity litigator who joins Clark Hill’s national practice as a member. She brings extensive experience advising clients on complex technology, data privacy, cybersecurity and regulatory matters. McCormick represents companies across a range of industries in high‑stakes litigation, regulatory investigations and incident response matters involving data privacy, cybersecurity and emerging technology risks. Her practice includes defending clients in consumer class actions and privacy and technology litigation, managing responses to data breaches and cyber incidents, and counseling organizations on compliance with state, federal and international privacy laws.
Her arrival strengthens Clark Hill’s multidisciplinary team that advises clients on proactive risk management, compliance and dispute resolution in an increasingly complex digital environment. Melissa Ventrone, head of the Data Privacy practice, said McCormick’s experience in privacy and cybersecurity litigation makes her an outstanding addition to the team.
McCormick is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in California, Oregon and Washington. She earned her law degree from Golden State University School of Law and previously graduated from Christian Albrechts University, Kiel, Germany, where she obtained a teaching degree and a masters‑level degree in English, concentrating her thesis on linguistics.
