Alston & Bird Expands Intellectual Property Bench with Three New Partners
"Alston & Bird adds partners Michael Elkin and Sean Anderson in New York and Jennifer Golinveaux in San Francisco to its Intellectual Property Group to bolster disputes involving AI, digital media and emerging technologies."
Michael Elkin joined Alston & Bird’s New York office as a partner. He is one of three new partners the firm said will focus on disputes involving digital media, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
Sean Anderson also joined the New York office as a partner and, like the other new partners, will concentrate on disputes at the intersection of digital media, AI and emerging technologies.
Jennifer Golinveaux joined Alston & Bird’s San Francisco office as a partner and will focus on disputes involving digital media, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
Natalie Clayton and John Haynes, co-chairs of Alston & Bird’s Intellectual Property Group, said the firm is strategically expanding capabilities as AI drives demand across copyright, patents and litigation. The group represents clients in complex IP disputes nationwide and before the Federal Circuit and the International Trade Commission, coordinates with patent counsel on PTAB proceedings, and emphasizes trial readiness and efficient execution in matters that affect clients’ businesses.
