Morgan Lewis Welcomes Partner Sarah Engle to Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice in Chicago

Sarah focuses her practice on counseling clients on a broad range of employee benefit matters involving tax-qualified retirement plans, health and welfare arrangements, and executive compensation plans. She advises on day-to-day plan administration, plan design, drafting and operation, and compliance with the Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, and other state and federal laws governing employee benefit plans. She also counsels plan sponsors and benefit plan committees on governance and oversight, fiduciary duty, and prohibited transactions, and has experience with employee benefits design, implementation, and transition matters arising in connection with corporate acquisitions and divestitures. Sarah regularly assists clients with plan design changes, pension de-risking, plan terminations, and represents clients in investigations and audits by federal agencies.
Sarah joins Morgan Lewis from McDermott Will & Schulte and returns to the firm where she previously practiced for six years. She is entering Morgan Lewis with the seniority of partner.
