KLA appoints Antonio Nachif as partner in Dispute Resolution: Litigation and Arbitration

Antonio Nachif has joined KLA as a partner in its Dispute Resolution: Litigation and Arbitration practice.

Nachif joins partners Tiago Cortez, Taísa Oliveira and Flávia Alterio in KLA’s Dispute Resolution and Corporate Recovery team. He enters the firm as a partner and will reinforce its capacity in civil disputes, arbitration and corporate restructuring.

Over a 20-year career, Nachif has handled judicial disputes and arbitration proceedings, creditor representation in restructuring and insolvency matters, and strategic preventive consulting including contractual claims management. His litigation experience covers commercial contracts, civil liability, mergers and acquisitions, corporate matters, credit recovery and insolvency, with particular expertise in renewable energy projects and construction.

Nachif holds an LL.M. from King’s College London, is pursuing a doctorate in Civil Law and has completed a master’s degree in Civil Procedure at the University of São Paulo (USP). While in London he worked as a visiting attorney at WilmerHale with a focus on international arbitration. He is a member of the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr) and of the M&A and Corporate Restructuring Committee of the Business Mediation and Arbitration Chamber (CAMARB).
