Massimo Longo and Gaia Benessia have joined Pavia e Ansaldo as partners, reinforcing the firm’s Litigation and Corporate practices, with particular attention to the Turin office.

Massimo Longo joins Pavia e Ansaldo as a partner from the Turin firm Benessia Jorio. He brings consolidated experience in civil, commercial, corporate and financial litigation, with a focus on disputes of high technical complexity. Over his career he has advised auditors and audit firms as well as members of corporate administration and control bodies, including in proceedings and interlocutions with supervisory authorities. He has developed specific expertise in financial intermediation law, assisting banks and insolvency procedures, and handles extraordinary corporate transactions, transfers of businesses and shareholdings across sectors including industrial, banking and energy. He also practices administrative law, with particular reference to public contracts and relations with sector authorities.

Gaia Benessia joins Pavia e Ansaldo as a partner from the Turin firm Benessia Jorio. She has developed significant experience in commercial and corporate law, particularly in litigation and in advising auditors, audit firms and corporate bodies. She has acquired expertise in acquisitions of shareholdings and companies, including in the Third Sector and in the renewable energy sector, where she has assisted in the establishment and development of entities operating in the Piedmont region. She is also active in academia and professional training as a speaker and as co‑author of contributions on corporate law.
