Proskauer Adds Josh Frankel as Partner in Private Funds and Secondary Transactions Practice
"Proskauer has hired Josh Frankel as a partner in its Private Funds Group and Secondary Transactions and Liquidity Solutions practice in New York, where he will work on secondaries and private capital transactions."
Frankel brings extensive transactional experience across private capital and secondaries markets. He joins Proskauer as a partner after serving as a Managing Director in the legal department of a leading secondary advisory firm, where he provided support on complex secondary transactions including continuation funds, LP tender offers and structured liquidity solutions. Prior to that role, he was a senior lawyer at a leading international law firm advising sponsors and investors on fund formation, GP-led transactions, continuation funds, tender offers and other secondary and hybrid structures, as well as complex cross-border M&A transactions.
Frankel’s arrival is part of a broader Private Funds hiring initiative at Proskauer this year; other lawyers who have joined the Firm include partners Zee Ahmedani, Malcolm Nicholls and Vlad Bulkin, and Secondaries Senior Counsel Nicholas McCoy.
