Barnes & Thornburg Adds Partner Joseph Balice to Insurance Recovery Team in Los Angeles
"Barnes & Thornburg has hired partner Joseph Balice in Los Angeles to its Insurance Recovery practice. He will work on commercial, professional and personal lines coverage disputes and complex, high-value litigation."
Balice brings nearly two decades of experience representing policyholders in disputes involving denied, delayed or underpaid insurance claims. He has worked across virtually all lines of commercial and professional insurance, has helped clients recover over $400 million in coverage benefits, and handles matters ranging from personal lines insurance denials to complex, high-value coverage litigation and billion-dollar catastrophic exposure cases. He joins Barnes & Thornburg as a partner. Previously, Balice served as counsel in the Orange County office of Haynes Boone and also practiced at BG Law, a nationally recognized insurance recovery firm.
Balice joins Insurance Recovery Group Co-Chair Lilit Asadourian in Los Angeles as part of an insurance recovery team that now includes more than 50 insurance lawyers positioned nationwide.
