Gunster Welcomes Jacob T. Buck and Isabella J. Forero to Tax and Corporate Practices
"Gunster has added Jacob T. Buck to its Tax practice (Tampa) and Isabella J. Forero to its Corporate practice (Fort Lauderdale); both join as associates focusing on tax and corporate transactional work."
Jacob T. Buck joins Gunster’s Tax practice group in the Tampa office as an associate. His practice focuses on structuring transactions, optimizing tax outcomes, and advising business owners, family offices, and fiduciaries on matters at the intersection of tax and business strategy, including deal structuring, negotiation of key terms, tax efficiency, and wealth transfer. He brings prior experience from a mid-sized tax firm, with a foundation in mergers and acquisitions, transactional tax planning, and estate planning. Jacob holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, a J.D., cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, and a B.A., magna cum laude, in Forensic Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology.
Isabella J. Forero joins Gunster’s Corporate practice group in the Fort Lauderdale office as an associate. Her practice concentrates on complex business transactions and general corporate advisory, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, venture capital and minority investments, divestitures, and commercial contracts. Prior to joining Gunster, she advised private equity sponsors at a major national law firm on middle-market transactions. Isabella earned her J.D. from Yale Law School, where she graduated as a Class Marshal, and a B.A. from St. John’s University.
