DLA Piper expands Milan real estate team with Federico Passamonti as counsel

Passamonti, who was senior counsel at BonelliErede, is specialized in extraordinary acquisition and development transactions in the real estate sector, with a particular focus on M&A and corporate real estate. He joins DLA Piper with the seniority of counsel, having previously served as senior counsel at BonelliErede.
His arrival brings DLA Piper’s real estate team to five partners and a total of 24 professionals.
DLA Piper’s real estate practice is described as one of the most structured in the Italian market and operates internationally. The stated objective of Passamonti’s appointment is to further consolidate the firm’s presence in a sector that remains highly active. Wolf Michael Kühne, country managing partner of DLA Piper in Italy, noted that Passamonti’s arrival represents a further step in the firm’s growth, while Olaf Schmidt, location head of the real estate department, said the appointment strengthens the practice’s position both in Italy and internationally.
