Paul Hastings Adds Private Equity and Real Estate Team in London
"Paul Hastings has hired Lyndsey Laverack, Jade Williams‑Adedeji, Jack Mayall and José Maria Rodrigues and their team to strengthen its London private equity and real estate practice."
Lyndsey Laverack joins from Covington & Burling, having previously practised at Sidley Austin. She has an international practice spanning Europe, the Middle East and Africa and focuses on private equity and cross‑border M&A. Laverack regularly represents private equity and other investment funds and REITs on transactions in privately held companies, including acquisitions and disposals, control and minority equity investments, and complex joint ventures, with particular experience in corporate real estate and infrastructure investments.
Jade Williams‑Adedeji joins from Covington & Burling, where she led Covington’s London real estate practice; she also previously practised at Sidley Austin. Her work covers the full cycle of real estate ownership and investment, including debt and equity investments and direct asset acquisition and disposal. She regularly represents REITs, private equity and investment funds and private companies across all asset classes, including senior housing, healthcare and social infrastructure, retail, hospitality, PBSA, sports stadia, offices, data centres and renewable energy.
Jack Mayall joins Paul Hastings as a partner, arriving with the team from Covington & Burling. José Maria Rodrigues also joins the firm as a partner and is part of the same team. Both partners previously practised with the group at Sidley Austin.
Their arrival strengthens Paul Hastings’ London private equity and full‑service real estate capabilities.
