Watson Farley & Williams strengthens German finance team with Frankfurt counsel hire
"Watson Farley & Williams hires Christian H. Hinzmann as counsel in Frankfurt to bolster its German finance practice; he will work in banking & finance and restructuring and insolvency."
Hinzmann’s practice focuses on banking and finance and on restructuring and insolvency. He advises businesses and financial institutions on acquisitions, financings, refinancings, Schuldschein loans and related matters both domestically and internationally. He also has expertise in restructuring financings, bridge loans and other crisis‑appropriate financing solutions. He joins WFW with the seniority of counsel.
Hinzmann was previously counsel at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer LLP, where he held the same seniority. WFW Germany Head Dr Christian Finnern commented that Hinzmann strengthens the firm’s German finance and restructuring offering across its core sectors of energy, infrastructure and transport and brings expertise in transactional private equity.
