Aron Estaver Rejoins Arnold & Porter as Investment Management Partner in San Francisco
"Aron Estaver has rejoined Arnold & Porter in San Francisco as a partner on the Investment Management team, where he will advise on private investment fund structuring and related regulatory and compliance matters."
Estaver’s practice spans over 20 years and primarily focuses on advising U.S. and non-U.S. fund sponsors on the structuring and ongoing operation of private investment funds. He works with sponsors pursuing strategies including private equity, venture capital, credit, hedge, real estate, and infrastructure, and regularly advises on formation and operation of secondary funds, funds-of-funds, co-investment vehicles, joint ventures, separately managed accounts, and other bespoke fund structures. His work encompasses sponsor-side structuring, negotiating investor-facing documentation, upper-tier sponsor arrangements, and representation of institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and high net worth investors. Estaver also has significant experience advising on regulatory, registration, and compliance matters applicable to investment advisers, commodity pool operators, and commodity trading advisors, including matters involving federal and state securities regulators, and he collaborates with tax, regulatory, employment, litigation, and other transactional colleagues on related corporate matters.
Estaver is joining Arnold & Porter as a partner. He previously spent 14 years with Arnold & Porter and, immediately prior to rejoining, served as of counsel in the Private Funds Group at an Am Law 100 law firm. He holds a B.A. from Brandeis University and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School.
