Daniel Lin has joined global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright as an Asia Pacific energy and infrastructure partner in the firm’s corporate practice, working across the Sydney and Tokyo offices.

Daniel has extensive experience advising on energy, infrastructure and general corporate transactions across Japan, South East Asia, the Americas and Europe. His clients include utilities, trading companies and infrastructure investors, as well as general corporates and financial institutions. His work centres on the development, funding, acquisition and disposal of energy and infrastructure assets, including digital infrastructure, conventional power and renewable energy assets. He also has extensive experience advising lenders financing the development and acquisition of these projects, and parties engaged in Japan out‑bound and in‑bound investments.

Daniel joins Norton Rose Fulbright from the global US law firm Sidley, where he served as co‑managing partner of the Tokyo office.
