SRS Legal adds Salomé Corte-Real as tax partner in Porto
"SRS Legal has appointed Salomé Corte-Real as a partner in its Porto tax law team. She joins from Vieira de Almeida and will work in the firm’s tax practice with more than 18 years’ experience."
Corte-Real brings more than 18 years of experience in tax law, developed at law firms and international consultancies, advising domestic and international clients on tax matters across complex business contexts. She joins the Porto-based tax team alongside partner Francisco Castro Guedes and will serve as a partner at SRS Legal. She holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and completed a postgraduate qualification in Tax Law at the same institution. She also attended specialist programmes in Taxation and Tax Planning, and in Management, at Católica Porto Business School.
Managing partners César Sá Esteves and Octávio Castelo Paulo said the hire represents an important step in the development of SRS Legal’s Porto office and in the consolidation of a multidisciplinary team fully integrated within the firm’s national structure, adding that Corte-Real’s experience will further enhance the firm’s ability to support national and international clients and bolster assistance to the Northern region’s business community.
