Almeida Advogados appoints Alessandro Silva as partner in Corporate, Compliance and Business Development

Silva brings more than three decades of legal experience, including 20 years serving as a Legal Director at large multinational companies. He joins Almeida Advogados with the seniority of partner.
His practice and experience cover corporate law, national and international contracts, compliance, M&A, strategic litigation and regulatory matters. He has been particularly active in managing complex M&A transactions and corporate reorganisations, and in overseeing risk management and compliance frameworks aligned with domestic and cross‑border regulatory requirements.
Silva holds a Master’s degree in Law from PUC‑SP, an Executive MBA in Business Management from IBMEC, a specialization in Private International Law from The Institute of International and Comparative Law in Texas, and a law degree from USP with a specialization in Civil and Procedural Law.
Internationally, he spent a period as an expatriate in Mexico and has coordinated legal projects across several countries in the Americas, including the United States, Canada, Argentina, Chile and Peru. He has also served as Head Legal LATAM and is an active member of committees at organisations such as AMCHAM, ANFAVEA and ABINEE.
