Jetter brings more than two decades of experience advising businesses and individuals on federal, state and local tax issues. He counsels clients on the state and local tax implications of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, and on multistate sales and use, property, corporate and individual income tax matters. He also advises on tax controversies, due diligence and compliance, and represents clients in tax audits, appeals, negotiations and litigation. In addition, he advises on tax credits and incentives, nexus studies, amnesty and voluntary disclosure negotiations, and legislation.
Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Jetter was of counsel at Stoel Rives. He previously served as a Senior Tax Policy Advisor in the Washington State Department of Revenue’s Interpretations & Technical Advice Division and Property Tax Division. He earned an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law, a J.D. from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law and a B.A. from Northwestern University.
