ERS Legal Launches in Poland with Founding Team from Dentons
"ERS Legal in Poland hires founder Ewa Rutkowska-Subocz and her team to work in environmental law compliance and litigation, investment process security, and product and EU regulatory law."
Ewa Rutkowska-Subocz founded ERS Legal. Before establishing the boutique environmental firm, she worked for Dentons and legacy firm Salans as a Counsel from 2011 to 2015 and as a Partner from 2015 to 2026. Earlier in her career she was Counsel at WKB from 2006 to 2011, an Associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf from 2000 to 2006, and a paralegal and associate at Hunton & Williams from 1996 to 2000. At ERS Legal she will lead work in environmental law compliance and litigation, investment process security, and product and EU regulatory law.
Katarzyna Szadkowska-Piergies joins ERS Legal as a Partner. Prior to the move she was a Senior Associate at Dentons from 2024 to 2026. She previously served as Head of the Legal Department at the Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection from 2023 to 2024 and worked at the Ministry of the Environment of Poland from 2020 to 2023. She will practise in the firm’s environmental and regulatory areas.
Jacek Piecha joins ERS Legal as a Partner. He was a Senior Associate at Dentons from 2024 to 2026 and worked in private practice from 2013 to 2024. He will work within ERS Legal’s environmental law and related regulatory practice.
Bartlomiej Cherka joins ERS Legal as Legal Counsel. The announcement does not provide prior employment details. He will serve in the firm’s environmental law practice.
Marta Maciaszczyk-Cierniak joins ERS Legal as Legal Operations Manager. No prior employer is indicated in the announcement. She will support the firm’s environmental law compliance, litigation and regulatory activities.
