In the UK, Martin Thomas has joined gunnercooke as Partner in Real Estate and Commercial. Dan Lyon has joined as a Construction Partner. Matthew Coles has joined as Regulatory Partner based in Manchester. Leonid Komov has joined as Operating Partner specialising in Compliance, Licensing and Financial Crime in London. Ed Meikle has joined as Intellectual Property Partner in Leeds.
In Germany, Annina Fittkau joins the Berlin office as a Partner specialising in Technology Compliance, Data Protection and Cybersecurity. Annette Bodeker joins the Frankfurt office focusing on Corporate Law, M&A and Notary work. Tim Heitmann joins the Dusseldorf office specialising in Intellectual Property and IT. The team is further strengthened by Florian Roetzer in Munich as an M&A, Corporate and Commercial Partner; Lambertus Fuhrmann in Dusselforf as a Corporate and Dispute Resolution Partner; and Daniel Vos in Dusselford as an Insolvency, Litigation and D&O Partner. Igsaan Varachia joins in Munich as a Corporate, M&A and Tax Partner, after nine years as a Partner at Dentons.
In the US, Natascia Taken has joined the Chicago office as an Advertising & Marketing, FDA and Consumer Protection Partner. In New York, Jake Prudhomme has been appointed as a Commercial and Financial Services Partner, and Kunbi Odubogun has joined as a Partner specialising in Business Law, Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Law.
Syed Nasser has been appointed Talent Director at gunnercooke. He joins the firm with over 20 years' experience in legal recruitment and, as Director of Talent, will drive the firm's recruitment strategy, focusing on attracting specialist lawyers in key growth areas and supporting gunnercooke's international expansion across the US and Europe. His appointment comes as the firm grows to around 600 fee earners, including 500 lawyers and 400 partners.
