DLA Piper appoints Rob McClean as London partner to bolster Fund Finance
"DLA Piper appoints Rob McClean as a partner in its London Finance practice. He will work in Fund Finance, advising on subscription lines, NAV, hybrid and GP facilities."
McClean joins from Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, where he served as Special Counsel. He brings experience across the UK and European markets and his practice focuses on advising major international financial institutions, investment banks and alternative investment platforms on the full spectrum of Fund Finance, including subscription lines, NAV, hybrid and GP facilities. He enters DLA Piper at partner level, having been Special Counsel at his previous firm.
Rob will rejoin former Cadwalader colleagues Katie McShane and Jonny Byrne-Leitch in New York; together they will lead DLA Piper’s New York–London Fund Finance team. His appointment is the latest in a series of strategic hires across DLA Piper’s Financial and Capital Markets practices, which the firm says will bolster its fund finance offering and enhance its ability to support cross-border matters.
