Gonzalo Cuervo joins Barrilero as partner and director in Galicia
"Barrilero hires Gonzalo Cuervo Díaz as partner and director in Galicia to reinforce its corporate and tax advisory practice."
He joins from Interim Tax & Legal Service (ITLS), where he was a partner. Cuervo brings a background in corporate and tax advisory work, with a particular focus on in-house and interim management roles, and is joining Barrilero at partner level as director of the Galicia office.
His experience includes acting as legal and tax adviser, part-time executive, corporate advisory board member, tax interim manager, legal manager and Spanish legal counsel, with expertise spanning corporate taxation and international tax matters. With more than 20 years of professional experience, Cuervo advises companies on tax law, corporate transactions, business restructurings and general corporate law, working closely with management teams on strategic and operational matters.
He holds a law degree in economic law from the Universidad de Vigo, a master’s degree in corporate legal advisory from IE Business School and an executive master’s in tax advisory from the Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
