GIM Legal expands Employment & Labour practice with Giovanni Beretta and Valerio Maio

Giovanni Beretta brings nearly thirty years of experience in the sector. He specialises in labour law, trade union law, industrial relations and social security. Beretta was previously a partner at the law firm founded by Mattia Persiani and subsequently at PBM.
Valerio Maio is a full professor of labour law. He specialises in labour law, trade union law, industrial relations and social security. Maio was previously a partner at the law firm founded by Mattia Persiani and subsequently at PBM.
The collaboration is intended to reinforce GIM Legal’s Employment & Labour offering with a specific focus on advising financial intermediaries, banks, insurers and listed companies. The integration aims to deliver a multidisciplinary approach that combines labour-law expertise with the regulation of financial markets, in a context increasingly influenced by supervisory authorities including the Bank of Italy, Consob, IVASS and Borsa Italiana. GIM Legal will deploy this enhanced practice across its offices in Rome and Milan.
