Proskauer Adds Partner Zeeshan Ahmedani to Los Angeles Private Funds Group

Ahmedani brings nearly 30 years of experience advising sponsors across private equity, venture capital and real assets. He joins Proskauer as a partner, expanding and strengthening the Firm’s private funds capabilities and bolstering its private capital platform, including its Private Equity Transactions, Fund Finance and Real Assets practices.
Ahmedani advises investment managers and sponsors on the formation and operation of private investment funds in the U.S. and internationally across a variety of strategies, including private equity, real estate, hedge, distressed, hybrid and Shari’ah-compliant funds. He represents managers, placement agents and sponsors on capital formation and counsels on the establishment of management companies and compensation arrangements. His practice also includes advising on U.S. regulatory matters, including matters involving investment advisers and investment companies.
