Dentons expands German Litigation and Dispute Resolution team with seven hires led by Dr. Roman Dörfler and Dr. Martin Beckmann

Dr. Roman Dörfler joins Dentons as a partner. He has more than 20 years’ experience handling complex national and international disputes before state courts and arbitral tribunals. His practice focuses on corporate and commercial disputes as well as banking and capital markets law, and he is noted for representing financial institutions in mass, class and landmark proceedings. Dörfler was previously at PwC Legal, where he served as a partner.
Dr. Martin Beckmann joins Dentons as a partner. He has practised law since 2005 and represents clients in complex national and international disputes before state courts, in arbitration proceedings and in out-of-court dispute resolution. His practice focuses on financial, corporate and insolvency disputes, and his contract and liability expertise includes post‑M&A conflicts, advisor liability and director and officer liability. Beckmann was previously at PwC Legal, where he served as a partner.
Jakob Frank and Steffen Kamprolf join Dentons as counsels; Dr. Saskia Naomi Merle joins as a senior associate; and Martin Geus and Peter Schwab join as associates. All five joined from PwC Legal, where they held the same respective seniority. Collectively, the new team brings deep experience in corporate and insolvency‑related disputes, model declaratory actions and class actions—particularly in banking and capital markets law—as well as in supply chain compliance, advisor liability and director and officer liability.
