Paul Hastings Adds M&A and Sports Partner Mark Zerdin to London Office

Mark Zerdin has joined Paul Hastings in London as a partner. He joins from Slaughter and May’s Chambers Band 1 practice, where he served as co‑head of the Sports practice. Zerdin is a preeminent M&A partner with deep experience advising sports teams and regulatory bodies, corporates, private equity firms and family offices across public takeovers, private acquisitions and disposals, private equity investment and joint ventures. Representative matters cited include work for the Football Association Premier League Limited, TWG Motorsports and General Motors on their application to compete in Formula One under the Cadillac Formula 1 Team name, and advising a U.S. private equity investor on the sale of a large portfolio of care homes to a U.S.-listed REIT.
Eric Schiele and Eduardo Gallardo have joined Paul Hastings in New York as partners. Both are described as elite corporate M&A lawyers and leading corporate M&A practitioners of their generation.
