Barnes & Thornburg Adds Product Liability and Mass Torts Counsel Michael Lisak in Chicago

Lisak brings substantial experience representing major corporate clients in toxic and mass tort litigation, pharmaceutical and medical device product liability, and environmental and toxic tort matters. He has also represented clients in whistleblower matters involving pharmaceutical sales and marketing practices and recently tried and obtained a landmark civil rights verdict concerning Eighth Amendment solitary confinement claims in New York. Lisak is noted for his work on expert witness development, MDL strategy and trial preparation, and has co-authored publications on presenting scientific evidence at trial and other expert-related topics. He joins Barnes & Thornburg from Sidley Austin and will serve as counsel in the firm’s Product Liability and Mass Torts practice. Lisak earned his law degree with honors from Chicago-Kent College and his bachelor’s degree with honors from Johns Hopkins University.
