Oppenhoff strengthens Munich office with trade, distribution and logistics team led by Dr Christiane Zedelius

"Oppenhoff recruits a trade, distribution and logistics team led by Dr Christiane Zedelius to its Munich office; Christine Seiz (counsel) and Sarah Liomin (senior associate) join from Dentons, and Dr Christiane Berr joins as partner in Cologne."

On 1 May 2026 Dr Christiane Zedelius, Christine Seiz and Sarah Liomin will join Oppenhoff’s new Munich office, and Dr Christiane Berr will also join Oppenhoff and be based at the Cologne office.

Dr Christiane Zedelius will join Oppenhoff as a partner, moving from Dentons’ Munich office. She advises companies, particularly in the consumer and luxury goods industries, on the development of international distribution systems and on drafting franchise, licence and agency agreements across the entire supply chain. She is noted for her extensive industry and regional network.

Christine Seiz will join Oppenhoff as counsel, moving from Dentons’ Munich office. She provides comprehensive advice on the drafting and negotiation of complex supply, development and licence agreements and on the establishment of distribution and platform models. Her work also includes support for IP-related transactions and advice on competition law and regulatory issues.

Sarah Liomin will join Oppenhoff as a senior associate, moving from Dentons’ Munich office. She works primarily in trade and distribution law, supporting the establishment of international distribution systems—ranging from selective distribution systems for luxury brands to complex international franchise systems—and advises companies on competition law and the protection of intellectual property rights.

Dr Christiane Berr will join Oppenhoff as a partner based in the Cologne office. She has many years of experience in distribution and logistics law, advising companies on establishing and restructuring distribution systems with a focus on franchise, agency and dealer models. In logistics she advises on drafting transport, warehousing and other logistics agreements, including cross-border arrangements.
