Harter Secrest & Emery Strengthens Municipal and Corporate Practices with Two New Associates

"Harter Secrest & Emery adds Noreena K. Chaudari to its Municipal Law team and Caroline R. Vilardo to its Corporate practice as Associates in Rochester and Buffalo, respectively."

Noreena K. Chaudari and Caroline R. Vilardo have joined Harter Secrest & Emery LLP as Associates in the firm's Rochester and Buffalo offices, respectively.

Noreena K. Chaudari joins Harter Secrest & Emery as an Associate on the Municipal Law team in the firm's Rochester office. Chaudari brings nearly a decade of experience from the New York State Department of Public Service, where she progressed from an Excelsior Service Fellow to roles as Assistant Counsel and Deputy Managing Attorney. As Deputy Managing Attorney for Transmission Siting, she led a team of attorneys responsible for matters involving the siting of major transmission facilities across New York State. She holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a B.S., cum laude, from Clark University.

Caroline R. Vilardo joins Harter Secrest & Emery as an Associate in the Corporate practice group in the firm's Buffalo office. Vilardo represents private and public companies in a range of corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and financing transactions, and advises on formation, capitalization, and incentive compensation matters. She also represents private companies in capital-raising transactions, negotiating and preparing debt and equity instruments such as convertible notes, simple agreements for future equity (SAFEs), and investment agreements. Prior to joining Harter Secrest & Emery, Vilardo was a senior associate with Lippes Mathias in Buffalo, New York. She serves on the boards of The Buffalo Club Foundation and West Side Rowing Club and earned a J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a B.S., summa cum laude, from the University at Buffalo.
