Boies Schiller Flexner strengthens Milan office with partner Nicola Bonante and three hires from Baker McKenzie

Nicola Bonante joins Boies Schiller Flexner as a partner. An expert in employment law and industrial relations, he advises on management incentive plans, compensation & benefits policies, and corporate reorganizations and restructurings, and assists Italian and multinational companies as well as private equity funds on labor aspects of extraordinary transactions. He is a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) and Avvocati Giuslavoristi Italiani (AGI). Bonante arrives from the Italian law firm Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici.
Joining the firm from Baker McKenzie are three professionals who will strengthen the new employment practice. Tiziana de Virgilio joins Boies Schiller Flexner as counsel; she is specialized in employment law with consolidated experience in advisory and litigation for national and multinational companies on personnel management, industrial relations and outsourcing, and has specific expertise in inspections and disputes with authorities, design of organizational models under Legislative Decree 81/2008 and integrated compliance systems (D.Lgs. 231/2001). She is also active on ESG and social sustainability issues, including the impact of new technologies and artificial intelligence on work.
Also arriving from Baker McKenzie are senior associates Noemi Cauzzo and Daniele Demelio, who join Boies Schiller Flexner as senior associates in the firm’s employment law team.
