Carlos Eugênio Novaes Marcondes joins the firm as a partner. He brings substantial experience in real estate, advisory and dispute resolution matters, including contractual negotiations, asset regularization, and the conduct of judicial and extrajudicial proceedings. His practice also covers due diligence processes, the structuring of real estate transactions and matters related to notarial and registry law. He holds an LL.B. from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, a specialization in Corporate Real Estate Law from Secovi-SP, and a postgraduate degree in Civil Procedure Law from Escola Paulista de Direito, and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Notarial and Registry Law at Escola Paulista da Magistratura.
The newly created real estate practice will support companies in the structuring, negotiation, implementation and regularization of real estate assets, projects and transactions. Its work includes structuring and negotiating real estate transactions, drafting and reviewing agreements, conducting due diligence and asset regularization, and advising on the organization of real estate developments and investments. The practice will also advise on lease agreements and related structures, guarantees, and the prevention and resolution of disputes, operating in close integration with the firm’s tax, corporate, M&A and contracts teams to provide a coordinated approach to structuring investments and managing legal issues involving real estate assets.
