Garrigues adds Jaime Silva as labour partner

Silva brings more than 22 years of professional experience in employment law, advising both domestic and international companies across sectors including banking, insurance and pharmaceuticals. He joins Garrigues from Labormatters and returns to the firm after having spent the first ten years of his career at Garrigues before moving to other practices. His return is presented as a strategic reinforcement of the department’s litigation and collective bargaining capabilities.
Silva holds a law degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and a master’s degree in Legal Consultancy from Instituto de Empresa. His practice focuses on strategic employment law advice and the management of recurring legal needs arising from business operations. He is noted for representing companies in employment litigation and collective disputes, as well as in collective bargaining and senior management advisory work. Silva is a regular speaker at employment law forums and conferences, lectures on master’s and postgraduate programmes, is the author of specialist publications in labour law and is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
