Four-Partner Appellate Team Led by Former Acting Solicitor General Jeff Wall Joins Gibson Dunn

Collectively, Jeff, Morgan and Yaira have argued more than 45 cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and the team brings extensive experience in high-stakes appellate advocacy, including matters arising from the Office of the Solicitor General.
Jeff Wall joins Gibson Dunn as a partner after two stints at the Office of the Solicitor General, most recently serving as Acting Solicitor General. He has argued more than 30 cases before the Supreme Court, is recognized as a leading appellate advocate for bet‑the‑company litigation, and clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas and Judge Wilkinson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Yaira Dubin joins as a partner and will lead Gibson Dunn’s New York appellate practice. She has argued six Supreme Court cases, prevailing in major copyright, bankruptcy and statutory appeals, and advises clients on cutting‑edge issues including artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. She previously served as an Assistant to the Solicitor General and clerked for Justice Elena Kagan, Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan and Chief Judge James E. Boasberg.
Judson (Judd) Littleton joins as a partner and is described as a highly versatile appellate lawyer who has litigated significant matters at every level of the judiciary. He is known for challenging burdensome government regulations, winning cases involving FTC, SEC and CFPB rules. Judd was a Bristow Fellow and served in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Federal Programs Branch, and he clerked for Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. and Judge A. Raymond Randolph.
Morgan Ratner joins as a partner handling high‑profile appeals and complex legal issues. She has argued 10 Supreme Court cases and has an extraordinary record of success in high‑dollar appellate matters. Morgan served as an Assistant to the Solicitor General, was named The American Lawyer’s Young Lawyer of the Year for 2024, and clerked for Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. and then‑Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh.
