Bevan Brittan strengthens energy and resource management with partner hires

Nick Fothergill has joined Bevan Brittan as a partner from Weightmans. A corporate lawyer, he specialises in providing support on renewable energy and resource management projects and has extensive experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, commercial contracts, private equity and general company law. Based in London, over the last 18 years he has advised on corporate matters in the wind (both on and offshore), solar/battery and energy from waste sectors.
Perveen Akhter has joined Bevan Brittan as a construction and infrastructure partner in the firm’s Birmingham office, where she will provide support on major energy projects. Her experience includes advising on the construction aspects of carbon capture and solar projects.
