Liam Paskvan Joins Sidley Austin's Energy, Transportation and Infrastructure Group
"Sidley Austin has hired Liam Paskvan as counsel in its Energy, Transportation and Infrastructure group in Boston. He will work on large-scale energy infrastructure and grid-scale transmission projects."
Mr. Paskvan has extensive experience advising developers of large-scale energy infrastructure and grid-scale transmission. He is skilled in negotiating complex project agreements, including power purchase, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), and generator interconnection agreements, and in providing legal oversight across a project’s life cycle—permitting, development, construction, operations, and maintenance. He joins Sidley as counsel, having most recently led the legal department of the nation’s first utility-scale offshore wind generation project. He previously served as a Special Assistant Attorney General in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, where he worked on energy and environmental matters on behalf of ratepayers.
