Morgan Lewis Announces Michael Rinehart as Chief Information Officer

Michael Rinehart has joined Morgan Lewis as chief information officer.

At Morgan Lewis, Rinehart will lead the firm’s global information technology function, focusing on the continued development of secure, reliable, and scalable systems that support the firm’s lawyers and the delivery of client service. He will work closely with Chief AI & Knowledge Management Officer Colleen Nihill and her team to align the firm’s technology platform with its data, AI, and knowledge initiatives.

Rinehart brings more than 25 years of experience across professional services and industry with a focus on information technology strategy, infrastructure, and operations, including enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. He joins from Dechert, where he served as chief information officer and oversaw the growth and implementation of the firm’s information technology strategy. Prior to Dechert, he served as chief information officer at Fox Rothschild for a decade.
