Deloitte Legal Telles appoints Eduardo Crespo as managing associate in Banking, Finance and Capital Markets

Crespo’s practice focuses on structured finance transactions, credit securitisation, corporate finance, debt issuance and banking regulation. Throughout his career he has advised domestic and international clients on structured and high‑yield issuances, direct lending and real estate sector financing, equity and bond markets, sovereign debt, collective investment schemes, project finance and financing for renewable energy and infrastructure projects, as well as banking and financial regulation and compliance matters, including advice to listed companies. He enters Deloitte Legal Telles with the seniority of managing associate, having held the same seniority at his previous firm, PLMJ.
Crespo holds a master’s degree in Law and Management from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, a law degree from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance from the Faculty of Law of Lisbon. He has been registered with the Portuguese Bar Association since 2018.
Francisco Espregueira Mendes, managing partner, said that Crespo’s integration is a significant reinforcement for the Banking, Finance and Capital Markets team, citing his technical experience and market knowledge. Márcio Carreira Nobre, partner and coordinator of the area, welcomed Crespo’s seniority and experience as a means to consolidate and grow the team in line with Deloitte Legal Telles’ strategy.
