Addleshaw Goddard appoints Shyamal Jeewoolall as partner to launch Middle East aviation finance practice

Jeewoolall is based in Addleshaw Goddard’s Dubai office and advises clients across Europe, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific. Joining from Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW), he will specialise in aviation finance, advising airlines, aircraft leasing companies, banks and financial institutions. His practice spans a diverse range of asset finance transactions, including pre-delivery financings, export credit-backed financings, commercial debt financings, Islamic financings, restructuring, and the sale and purchase of aviation assets.
Jeewoolall trained and qualified in London, worked in Paris and Singapore, and has been based in Dubai for more than ten years. During his tenure at HFW he established that firm’s internationally active aircraft finance practice and led the recruitment of partners across London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Sydney.
