Javier Fernández-Samaniego returns to Samaniego Law

"Javier Fernández-Samaniego has returned to Samaniego Law, where he will resume work in disputes, arbitration and technology matters across the Ibero-American market."

Javier Fernández-Samaniego has left Osborne Clarke USA and returned to Samaniego Law.

Fernández-Samaniego founded Samaniego Law in 2017 and has now moved back to the Ibero-American disputes and technology boutique. He joined Osborne Clarke USA in September 2023 to lead the firm’s Miami office, a role he held until his departure in March 2026. Osborne Clarke confirmed he recently left the firm to work as an independent arbitrator from his own platform.

He is recognised in the Spanish market for a practice spanning dispute resolution, arbitration and technology law, with a particular focus on international commercial complex conflicts, technology and cybersecurity and privacy matters, and cross-border mandates involving Spain, the US and Latin America. His return to Samaniego Law represents a move back to the platform he founded, which positions itself as an alternative legal business focused on disputes and technology across the Ibero-American market.
