Verrill Dana LLP Welcomes Litigation & Trial Associate Elliott Williams
"Verrill Dana LLP welcomes Elliott Williams as an Associate in its Litigation & Trial Group in Westport; he joins from a Westport maritime litigation boutique and will work on maritime, commercial and general litigation."
Williams represents clients ranging from large corporations to individuals in both state and federal courts at all stages of litigation, from pre-suit investigations through resolution. He joins Verrill as an Associate. Prior to joining Verrill, Williams practiced as a litigation associate at a Westport maritime litigation boutique, where he represented vessel owners, vessel charterers, non-vessel operating common carriers, and marine insurers in a broad range of maritime and commercial litigation matters before arbitration tribunals and in state and federal courts across the United States. During law school, he served as Managing Editor of the Cardozo Journal of Equal Rights and Social Justice and participated in the New York State Office of the Attorney General Social Justice Division Field Clinic, assisting with nonprofit corporate governance enforcement matters. Williams received his law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, and his undergraduate degree from Samford University.
